Dua Lipa Concert Spurs BKC Traffic Advisory

Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) is set to witness significant traffic diversions on November 30 as the city gears up for Dua Lipa’s much-anticipated performance at the MMRDA Grounds. The global pop icon will headline the Zomato Feeding India Concert 2024, an initiative aimed at spotlighting hunger and malnutrition. With an expected surge of attendees, the Mumbai Traffic Police have implemented proactive measures to ensure smooth vehicular movement and public safety. Traffic restrictions will remain in place from 1 PM until midnight, with several arterial routes facing closures and diversions. Motorists are advised to recalibrate travel plans and utilise alternate routes to minimise inconvenience.

Routes Impacted by Traffic Restrictions

Bharat Nagar Junction: Traffic from the Western Express Highway (WEH), Dharavi, and Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL) towards Kurla will be restricted.
Sant Dnyaneshwar Nagar: Access to Kurla near Bharat Nagar Junction will be limited.
Kherwadi Government Colony and Kanakia Palace: Vehicles heading to BKC, Chunabhatti, or Kurla will face diversions.
Kurla and Razzak Junction: Vehicles will be rerouted via Platina Junction to Bharat Nagar Junction.
CST Road: Entry towards the MMRDA Grounds and nearby locations will be blocked, with diversions towards UTI Tower and Kanakia Palace.
Ambani Square and Laxmi Tower: Access towards Diamond Junction and NABARD Junction will also be prohibited.
To facilitate traffic management, personnel will be stationed across BKC, ensuring compliance with diversions. Commuters are encouraged to heed advisories and prioritise alternative routes.
