As the number of vehicles running on electricity is increasing day by day in Mumbai, Best has decided to provide electric vehicle charging facilities to Mumbaikars. Best will operate 55 electric vehicle charging stations in Mumbai city and suburbs. This facility will be provided at various Best locations and the surrounding area. Best also intends to develop a mobile app option for customers.
Best has currently undertaken construction of electric vehicle charging stations in 24 warehouses. So far, the works of charging stations has been completed at two to three places. Best buses can be charged at charging stations in the depot, while private vehicles can be charged at charging stations at other locations.
Electric vehicle charging stations will be started at 10 to 12 locations in Mumbai city and suburbs in the coming months. Chargers of 40 kw to 50 kw will be provided in the bus depot. Chargers of 10 to 11 kilowatts will be provided for private vehicles.
